What you can do with peax

Receive. Your mail is forwarded and scanned on the day of delivery, Monday through Friday; it will appear in the app by early afternoon at the latest. Emails and photos of receipts arrive in the same inbox.

Pay. Invoices are ready to be paid. Just link your Swiss bank account and approve the payment.

File away. Contracts, certificates, tax documents, and warranties are stored in encrypted form in Switzerland, with tags and full-text search capabilities.

Share. Invite your partner , family, or a trustee, and specify who can see what.

What happens to cards, IDs, and packages

Items that cannot be scanned – such as bank cards, ID cards, or voting materials – are automatically forwarded by peax to your address at no additional cost starting with the Basic plan. If you need the original letter, you can order it with a single click. Packages are not affected by this forwarding process.

How to get started in business, too

With your personal account, you can open or join a business account for your company. Your personal and business accounts stay clearly separated—all within the same app.

Frequently asked questions and answers

You can request that the post office forward your mail to the peax Scanning Center. From then on, your mail will be scanned there on the day of delivery and will be available in the app. We'll walk you through the process step by step.
Monday through Friday on the delivery day, by early afternoon at the latest.
The Scanning Center accepts registered letters and scans them. You are the only one authorized to accept letters that you have registered yourself. We'll notify you of this and post the pickup notice in the app.
Just you and the people you invite. Your documents are stored in encrypted form in an ISO 27001-certified cloud in Switzerland, and access is protected by two-factor authentication. The privacy of correspondence also applies at the scanning center.
Subscriptions are annual contracts billed annually. The Starter plan is free and has no minimum term.
Yes. Your Swiss mail is scanned in Lucerne, and you can read and pay for it from anywhere. Ideal for stays abroad, travel, or a second home.
